Get to know submit_swip_request

Overview: submit_swip_request queues a SWIP request for processing regarding the submitted device's public IP addresses.

  • NOTE: The following parameters assume you have a registered organization with ARIN.

    submit_swip_request requires the following parameters:

    • device_id – The identifier of a device.
    • org_id – ARIN registered organization ID.
    • poc_id - ARIN registered point of contact ID.
    • primary_ns – A nameserver.
    • secondary_ns – A nameserver.

  • NOTE: The following parameters assume you do not have a registered organization with ARIN.

    submit_swip_request requires the following parameters:

    • device_id – The identifier of a device.
    • orgname – The name of your organization.
    • addr1 – The first line of your organization's street address.
    • [addr2] – Optional. The second line of your organization's street address.
    • city – The name of your organization's city.
    • state – The name of your organization's state or province.
    • zip – The postal code of your organization.
    • country – The country in which your organization resides.
    • poctype – The type of point of contact you are specifying.
    • rolename – The role of your point of contact.
    • fname – The first name of your point of contact.
    • pocorg – The name of the organization that serves as your point of contact.
    • pocaddr1 – The first line of the address of your point of contact.
    • [pocaddr2] – Optional. The second line of the address of your point of contact.
    • poccity – The city in which your point of contact resides.
    • pocstate – The state or province in which your point of contact resides.
    • poczip – The postal code of your point of contact.
    • poccountry – The country in which your point of contact resides.
    • pocphone – The phone number of your point of contact.
    • pocemail – The e-mail of your point of contact.
